The Week in Low Carbon Commerce
April 1, 2024
Happy Monday, low carbon commerce enthusiasts.
Did you catch Friday’s round-up of climate and sustainability innovators from Shoptalk 2024?
Since I started working in this space a bit over a year ago, I’ve continued to be amazed by the volume of companies being started and funded to help retailers and brands get more effective, efficient, and lower-emission.
It reminds me of the five years following the launch of the iPhone, when venture capital really started flowing into companies with solutions for helping retailers and brands embrace digital commerce.
And, as in those days, we’ve been fielding more questions and interest from retailers and brands trying to make sense of the landscape and prioritize where to focus.
Since we published our initial Commerce Climate Tech market map last Fall, we’ve identified more than 30 new players working in areas like food waste, resale, recycling, data, and others.
If your company wants an introduction to what’s happening across this landscape — or a deep dive in an area you’re focused on — I’d love to connect with you.
You can book time to speak with me here.
Until next week…
-Keith
