Deals and funding

Oishii, based in Jersey City, NJ, raised a $134 million Series B to expand its vertical farming operations and invest in R&D.

Mondra, based in London, raised £3.6 million in pre-Series A funding for its AI-enabled product footprinting platform for the food supply chain.

Axiom Cloud, based in San Jose, CA, raised $5 million to accelerate deployment of its refrigerant leak detection software for grocers.

Simple Planet, based in South Korea, raised $6 million in a pre-Series A round to accelerate R&D for its cultivate meat and to support international expansion.

PlantSwitch, based in Sanford, North Carolina, raised $8 million for its technology that improves the compostability of plastics.
